I love food, but I just don’t get excited over new restaurant openings (well not too often anyway) or the latest food trends, but what I do get excited over is street food…which I guess is a sort of trend. Some of my favourite food gets served up at carts, vans and trucks on the side of the road.

So if all goes to plan this blog should document my travels around London tasting the best street food the city has to offer. And given the way the street food scene is going at the moment, there’s no shortage of new places to try out. Hopefully if I get travelling outside of London, I’ll get to taste street food from all over the place. Now and again I might post the odd non-street food post, but they should all be food related.

As well as writing posts about the places I visit and of course posting loads of photos, i’m going to be building a map of street food vendors (if they have a permanent location) to make it easier to track down your favourite foods.

Anyway I hope you enjoy the blog and if you have any suggestions of street food places I should check out just let me know!
