Chinatown’s Street Food

Together with what felt like half of London I headed down to Chinatown today to watch the Chinese New Year celebrations. As always it was a lot of fun and if you battled your way through the crowds there was plenty to see and of course there was plenty to eat.

Bloggers Lunch at The Ship

Despite living in Hammersmith for nearly three years, I never made the short journey across the river to The Ship pub in Wandsworth, and after visiting this weekend I now realise I was seriously missing out! But at a Bloggers Lunch (organised by Gail at One Million Gold Stars) I more than made up for lost time with a wonderful – and extensive – menu! Rather than writing a post, i’m just going to let you drool over some pictures of some of our dishes!

Mother Flipper first started slinging their burgers back in December, so have only been around for a few weeks, but in that short time i’d seen enough pictures and positive tweets to make me curious enough to head down to Lewisham this last Saturday. You can find Mother Flipper in a Lewisham car park as part of the excellent Brockley Market (which has a fantastic selection of street food) 10am-2pm on Saturdays.
